The Charter was draped in red, white and blue. All Charter Members were recognized and our two living Charter Members received Awards. Our Past Presidents received awards and pins and a 48-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, June R. Mackey, was recognized with a Continuous Membership Certificate. All of those mentioned received beautiful red, white and blue corsages.
Nassau County American Legion Auxiliary President Yvonne Brunner presented the Unit with a desktop stand with the US and POW/MIA Flags to be used at Unit meetings.
